These are like regular placemats, except they have tiny white stones all over them. It looks much like something you would find in a beach environment. They are heavier than most placemats, kind of pretty, and remind me of the beach.I had assumed you would get 4 of these, but that was because I wasn't paying attention. Washable? I'm not so sure that would be easy. Also, you may lose a few stones or have to glue them back over time.
These worked well for my purposes, because I love anything that reminds me of the ocean or beach.
