Review of White Beach Stone Placemat

These are like regular placemats, except they have tiny white stones all over them. It looks much like something you would find in a beach environment. They are heavier than most placemats, kind of pretty, and remind me of the beach.

I had assumed you would get 4 of these, but that was because I wasn't paying attention. Washable? I'm not so sure that would be easy. Also, you may lose a few stones or have to glue them back over time.

These worked well for my purposes, because I love anything that reminds me of the ocean or beach.

The brown and pink polka dot apron is adorable and my daughter loves it; however, I was a bit disappointed with the sizing.The product description did not list any size information (not even listing an approximate age bracket for sizing reasons), and the apron was much smaller that I had anticipated.For the price paid, I also had expected the apron to be made from a thicker material, or perhaps even lined on the back side (a thin waterproof coating perhaps), but the actual material is quite thin. Lastly, the picture of this apron shows large pink bows on the pockets; however, the apron I received has very tiny small pink bows on the pockets.Not a big deal, but the large bows on the apron shown with the product description are much nicer.

I read two reviews before buying this product.Thank goodness I overlooked the poor quality remarks.This apron is adorable, nicely made, and the fabric is similar to a light/medium weight linen.This apron does all it was meant to - it makes you feel almost as cute as it is and it will keep off flour dustings and spatters.If you are looking for the heavier duty fabrics, to keep off major spills and slops, perhaps you might try the Cannon apron at Amazon.com.That fabric is stiffer, the coverage a bit better, but you won't feel as pretty (and it won't bring back fond memories of your grandmother making biscuits and fig jam in the summer).For me, this apron was well worth it and I am buying another in a different pattern and one for a friend!

Review of Carrara Pisa Tablecloth

Wash this tablecloth separate from all other clothing for the first three washes - the dye bleeds like crazy. After the third wash, the cloth started to look faded, unfortunately. They also arrived with a strange smell, sort of like gasoline. They are nice, but watch for bleeding and know that they fade fast.
