Just as promised, any liquid poured on the tablecloth will bead up initially. The material is very soft. This has also seen the washer many times and it still looks like new. I had bought one of these in "Sun" for over twice as much I paid for them on Amazon. Amazon really has a great deal on these. You can't buy a microfiber tablecloth for this price at even Wal-Mart.
