I received dishcloths, not dish towels.I had planned to use them as cafe curtains in my kitchen. Have to admit, as annoyed and disappointed as Iwas, it was amusing when I opened the package and held them up only to see that they were only a square foot. Returned (requiring more work and a trip to the P.O.) and got a full refund. The dish towels weren't available.

I bought this a couple weeks ago. 1st of all, its a 60" table runner. Then when i washed per the instructions, it shrank 6" and is now wrinkled. I contacted the seller for explanation and got no response. Don't be fooled. This isn't what it seems to be.

Review of April Cornell Napkins, Set of 4

I disagree completely with the dimensions quoted in the item description. These napkins, as delivered to me, are about 15.5 inches square.

That's a very small napkin, indeed, for the dinner table. And my guess is that the fabric is set to shrink some more, which might make this set useful for serving appetizers.

But I wasn't intending to buy cocktail napkins and, especially at the price, I'm disappointed that April Cornell seems not to have been paying attention here.

On short notice, needed to find napkins for a dinner for 5 people.
Most napkins come in packages of 4. There were six of these.
Checked Amazon after wandering through many stores and found these. Great price and fast delivery.
The colors coordinated perfectly with a neutral tablecloth and my dinnerware.
The fabric was heavier than most napkins and these cleaned up nicely in the washing machine.
Did need to iron after washing, but nothing major.
Ordered 11/20, received 11/24 with supersaver shipping.

Review of LACE VINYL TABLECLOTHES

It is very pretty but I wish it were a few milligrams thicker. I feel I still need to put place mats over this tablecloth because dishes still make some clanging noises when set on.Also, it has white scallopping but it is not cut to the scalloping but continues a few more inches with clear vinyl.

I bought it for a 36" inch glass table and it fits perfectly.

These are very beautiful, but they are NOT machine washable. The tag on them specifically says HAND WASH! I would never have bought them had I known. They also spot stain very easily so hand washing is not very practical.

Review of Lenox Laurel Leaf Placemats

For a year, I have had a set of Lenox laurel leaf table linens in platinum (actually a little paler than in the picture above), and my feelings are mixed about them. They're certainly lovely and elegant, and stains come out easily after pretreatment and washing--even red wine and tomato sauces.

The only problem is that some of the placemats wind up wrinkled after washing, even when following the directions to wash but not tumble-dry them. It's as if the stiff facing inside them gets loose and bunched up or pleated, and no amount of ironing will fix them. Only half of the 12 that I started with are in their original shape, thanks to spot-washing and good luck.

So if you want elegant, not-too-expensive table linens, the Lenox laurel leaf napkins and tablecloths are great. I would just avoid the placemats until they are (hopefully) more reliably constructed.
