Review of Battenberg Vinyl Lace Tablecloth 70 Round

You have to look really hard at this tablecloth to see that it is vinyl.It hangs very nice and looks great. I have never bought a vinyl cloth before because I am not a fan. But this one looks so good that I'm going to order a larger one for when I put the leaves in the table
Looks "exactly" like the photo and was delivered quickly.A great price and a very nice tablecloth.Love it!

Review of DII Everyday Basic Napkin Set of 6

The napkins are large and thick.Very nice napkins for the price.Do not go by the color panels you see however.I got the blackberry which look like a red on the color panel but they are actually a super dark purple color.Pretty but not the color I wanted.I am too lazy to return because we use these for everyday use instead of paper napkins.I bought more in more colors.You will not be disappointed.

Review of Rose Tree Estate Oval Set of 6 Placemat

These are nice heavy mats.Unlike the other reviews, I decided to wash these before reviewing.They wash well and come clean, however, you absolutely must iron them and when you do, the edges do not lay flat anymore.They actually still look ok, the edges just look a little ruffled which doesn't bother me that much.

In the picture, it appears to have small roses clustered together. In actuality, they are BIG roses, which kind of overwhelm the tiny towel. It is mostly RED. I read about these tablecloths in Good Housekeeping so I figured you couldn't go wrong. I was right! This tablecloth is made of pop bottles. Believe it or not, it feels just like fabric. The weave is very attractive and there are several colors. When your son drips his drink on it, the liquid just beads up. When you throw it in the washer and dryer it comes out perfectly. Review of DII Basics Napkin Set of 4

The weave on these napkins is course so they a rough hand to them. Hopefully they will soften a bit as they get washed. They are also prone to wrinkling, and have to be ironed if you want them to look crisp.

The are not bad for every day use and are a good way to reduce garbage generated by paper napkins.

I wish that they were a finer weave and would feel nicer. They are higher maintenance than I hoped for.

What a mistake. I've have spent over two hours trying to put the shade together. First, the metal tines broke and the fabric is way too tight to fit over it. Review of DII Caliente Stripe Table Runner

The product picture does not do the color pattern justice on this table runner. It's a gorgeous combination of colors that would go well with an decor. I had thought it might have a bit of a Mexican flavor to the colors, especially given the name "Caliente." However, in actuality it doesn't remind me of anything Mexican, Latino or Spanish whatsoever. My table is black and the runner looks particularly stunning against the darkness of the table. Take a look at the pictures I uploaded -- they might give you a better idea of the color than the standard product picture. Additionally, the runner is made of a sturdy yet soft cotton weave.

Review of Popcorn 3-Piece Kitchen Towel Set

First off I only write reviews of my purchases when the item is of great value and quality (these are both) or if it is a waste of money, (these are not)!

They are a very heavy dense fabric, all cotton, that is approximently 28 inches long and 16 inches wide.(size of standard pillow case) The material is not too heavy that it does not absorb spills or get into small areas in cups and glassware. They wash and dry nice, without any lose of color or shrinking. These towels are very vibrant in their colors.

I received these over a month ago for 6 bucks and am purchasing another set today.

I hope this is helpful.

UPDATE: 11/09/2009 I just purchased my third set of these amazing towels. The set I purchased in 2007 are being to wear and so I got one more set and I'll possibly get another as needed.
